The Adventures of Fergus

FERGUS, THE LITTLE BLUE TRACTOR, lives on Smithfield farm with his friends Hamish the horse

and the wise old owl. Fergus is well liked by all the farm animals and is farmer Smithfields

favourite tractor. Fergus loves helping farmer Smithfield, regardless of how hard the chores

are Fergus and the farmer always get them done together.

Life is good on the farm until one day without Smithfi eld arrived to start the days chores shiny new big red tractor. When Fergus and Big

Red meet, Fergus is pushed aside as confi dently

and boastfully Big Red tells Ferguss friends

that he is the farmers new tractor, and there is

nothing he cant do! Sadly, after many years

of hard work on the farm Fergus was no longer

needed.

What would become of Fergus, what possible use could a little old tractor ever be now? Will

Fergus remain rusting away in the barn or will the ferocious storm leave the farmer in need
