From USA Today bestselling author Charmaine Pauls comes a reverse age gap, forbidden duology filled with drama, plot twists, angst, emotion, and melting hot scenes.
I’m old enough for her. I don’t care what her friends or society say. It’s my experience that counts, not my age. I’m everything she never knew she needed. Why and how I met her doesn’t matter. She can never know our paths didn’t cross by coincidence. I’ll take those dirty, twisted secrets to my grave, because I’m keeping her forever.
Note: The Age Between Us box set includes Old Enough (book 1) and Young Enough (Book 2) and is Jane and Brian's complete story.

Excellent!
Book 1: I gotta say this is the best older woman, younger man tropes I have read to date. The author did a brilliant job of making this 19 year old come off as one of the most confident and dominant heroes and yet stay true to his age.
Brian's story is believable. The way he is an old soul due to how young he was when he had to become the man of the house. I'm very intrigued by him and I'm on pins and needles waiting to see what is going to happen in book 2.
I'm not sure how I feel about Jane yet. I like her. She honorable and honest but maybe too much. I want her to assert herself to a few of the side characters. She is almost too innocent in the midst of many sharks in her life but that is also why I'm loving Brian so much. The way he takes care of her is very appealing.
There are so many outcomes I can see for the next book. I really don't know what to expect and that's a big reason why I am so enthralled with this story. I'm so happy book 2 is being published not long after this book.
Book 2: One thing I learned from this book is that apparently I am bloodthirsty and that Jane is a better woman than I am. I knew Jane and Brian's journey was not going to be easy but I had no clue the amount of pain Jane would suffer for her chance at happiness.
How much can one woman take until she breaks? That's still the question because Jane proved to be much stronger than I gave her credit for in the first book. She is one of the most honest, giving heroines I have ever read. She truly only wanted what was best for others and never complained for herself, and it killed me at times.
Through it all, Brian proved that age is just a number. I loved how fiercely he loved her. How hard he fought for her. He's the kind of hero I love to read about. For being as young as he was, he knew what he wanted and he jumped every hurdle in his way. I loved how much of a better man he was compared to the more "mature" side characters in this book. This is a couple that deserves to make it work.
Despite my bloodthirsty nature not being satisfied, I can appreciate the way the author kept Jane true to character. This was brilliantly written but I am not surprised since I have experienced this author before. I highly recommend The Age Between Us Duet.
