The Age of Elizabeth

Elizabeth I (1533-1603), also known as the Virgin Queen, was the daughter of Henry VIII and the last monarch of the Tudor dynasty.  


Aside from a history of Queen Elizabeth I, The Age of Elizabeth chronicles Western Civilization during the period of Elizabeth’s reign.  Seven books each with their own chapters cover the religious environment of the day, the Reformation, Spain and the Netherlands, the Spanish Armada and its defeat, and Elizabethan literature.
