Couldn’t stop reading
I got the book because it was free and I wanted something to read on the bike and elliptical thinking it’d keep my head busy while I worked out. Big mistake. Next thing I knew my 15 to 20 minutes planned cardio turned into hour long stretches, 700 calorie mini marathons and even after I was done, I’d sit down for fear of passing out just to get through a few more chapters. An awesome and realistic (for zombie books anyways) look at what an extreme outbreak would look like in a strange quasi-dystopian future. I’ve gotten the next two books already and most likely am gonna pick up 4 and 5 here soon.
Amazing
This story was awesome kept me going every page to see what happen. the action was amazing and the horror even better this is one of the best books I have ever read.
Solid story
While not the most original in concept, this is a decent zombie book. I had a hard time liking the main characters at all... Vicky is pretty b*tchy and Rhys is just... blah. I also didn't really care for the plan they make to save Larissa... by opening the towers that are locked and keeping all those people safe, to just let them all get infected? That's an awful solution. But I digress. It's an easy read if you enjoy the genre! Reminded me just a tiny bit of Raccoon City! Might or might not go on to the second book.
