The Amender Series Parts 1 & 2

Penny is lost, not in a town or a city, nor away from her home but utterly lost in all that she had treasured in her life. Her mother, the main source of comfort is gone and she finds she has to take her place in a position not for the faint of heart.  Will the life she was raised to accept be what she will return to, or will she walk away after realizing there is more to the world that what she first thought?
