The Angel of Rattlesnake Bend

While on a four day float trip of the Smith River, Rhonda Carter and Emily DeRosa get caught up in a flash flood.After losing everything but their canoe, paddles, and backpacks, they try to make the dangerous trip down river to the next campsite, Rattlesnake Bend.The rapids there prove to be too much as they dump their canoe and almost drown.

In desperation, the girls fire an emergency flare into the evening sky. This alerts ranch hand Rusty Riley, who's been riding fence for the Spiked Heart Ranch while taking a break from the rodeo circuit. He befriends the girls and with a summer snowstorm brewing, invites them back to his cabin.The girls agree and embark on the adventure of a lifetime.

After two days at the cabin, a bond forms between them. Hearing tales of Rusty's rodeo lifestyle and his crazy ex-wife and girlfriend, only intrigues the girls more.

When sparks fly between Emily and Rusty,will he be able to heal her wounded,wild heart? Knowing the whole time that she will be going home soon, and never return to him.
