Andy Sykes, the lead architect for STR, a Los Angeles architectural firm, has been hired to design and supervise the construction of a massive building in the heart of Dubai. Renowned for his expertise in AI and cybersecurity, Andy is on his way to the grand opening, where he is the keynote speaker, to describe the zero-carbon community.

But Andy is very concerned about the security system. CTC, the Boston-based developer of the building's state-of-the-art cyber security, is keeping vital information from Andy about the hardware -- what it does and how it works. Radicals in the region are determined to gain control of the new hardware. And when Andy and his wife, Jennifer, become the targets of terrorists, their lives depend on whether Andy can gain access to it.
