Not what I expected
I bought the book looking for an answer and came away with more questions instead. And yet... I have a better understanding of the Why of a Japanese garden, and will see them now with fresh eyes.

I have several books on Zen Gardens. All nice and good but ‘The Art of Setting Stones’ is like reading a beautiful painting .
No technical trudging through the hows or why’s , just an incredible journey into the gardens. Wonderful
