Really jaded perspective

It felt like someone who experienced trauma and never really processed it wrote a book about letting their narrow perspective close doors instead of seeing the complexities in ourselves and others and not villainizing people, but instead learning to be less judgmental and lean in with curiosity.

I get that it’s trying to do so to help someone who finds themselves in a bad situation, but feels like it’s a very naive and childish approach to throw out the baby with the bath water.

I got recommended this book by an old friend, and I’m glad they found some solace in it, but can’t help but feel it’s teaching a very flawed lesson imo.
