Liberty:
Working as a researcher at the county historical society is a dream job for a history enthusiast like me. And if I use my profession as an excuse for being just a tad reclusive, well, that's my prerogative. But when Jacob, my brother's best friend, arrives in town to gather material for his upcoming book and asks for my assistance, I realize I'd much rather consult on matters of the heart than delve into history. However, I have a hunch that this charming author is too honorable to take the first step. So perhaps it's all up to me.

Choosing my hometown as the backdrop for my next historical fiction novel was a no-brainer. I adore Burton, and the need to explore local history is a perfect excuse to spend time with old friends for a few weeks. When my buddy suggests his younger sister as my research assistant, I gladly accept the help... until I lay eyes on her and realize that Liberty has transformed into the woman of my dreams.
