The Awakening

The price of knowledge is blood. Survival is a contract.

Dive into the dark heart of The Eye of the Diamond universe with The Awakening, Volume 1 of The Saga of the Unique, a dark and haunting prequel that reveals the origins of one of the saga's most enigmatic figures.

You think you know Fleo, the Necromancer, the legend… But who remembers the child behind the monster?

Long before he became the "old bundle of bones" feared by the living and the dead alike, Fleo was only a fragile boy, born under the shadow of Death.

Unlike those around him, he has no dragon. Rejected by destiny, his only inheritance is a mysterious stone egg.

Living in the shadow of a Necromancer father and a sister seemingly promised to the light, Fleo must find his own path. His choice will lead him deep into forbidden arcana, where knowledge demands sacrifice and power always comes at a price.

Between loyalty and betrayal, suffering and initiation, childhood and darkness, his journey will forge the foundations of a legend.

But what must be sacrificed to create the being he is destined to become?

Monster or Hero?

Sometimes, the line between them hangs by a thread.

The Awakening is the chilling origin story behind a power that will one day change everything in The Eye of the Diamond universe.

To forge a monster, you must first kill the child.

No one is born a Necromancer… one must become one.
