What horrors await you during the night,

When your subconscious merges your reality with dreams,

The human psyche is one of our last frontiers; portents, dreams, and visions some say are a look into our possible future, while others it is a way for our subconscious to deal with the stressors of our day. What so you believe?

This collection of two poems and a short story is a real event from my past, when a young girl's responsibilities may have been too much, or was it a future I prevented when I heeded my dream's warning?
