Good read, but short.
I’m a sucker for this type of book. I enjoyed the story and the author really made the two main characters stand out as different perspectives being told. My only complaint—it was short!

Bella, an American whose fathers works at the American Embassy in South America. While shopping, Belle witnesses the cruelty of the prison guards and how they treat prisoners they are escorting. Pushed out of the way by the guards, the prisoner helps her to her feet, and slip a watch into her hand. Mashed visits the prisoner inside to prison and gets locked inside.
