Publisher Description
The third and final book in the New York Times-bestselling Remnant Chronicles.
Lia has survived Venda—but so has a great evil bent on the destruction of Morrighan. And only Lia can stop it.
With war on the horizon, Lia has no choice but to assume her role as First Daughter, as soldier—as leader. While she struggles to reach Morrighan and warn them, she finds herself at cross-purposes with Rafe and suspicious of Kaden, who has hunted her down.
In this heart-stopping conclusion to the Remnant Chronicles trilogy that started with The Kiss of Deception and The Heart of Betrayal, traitors must be rooted out, sacrifices must be made, and impossible odds must be overcome as the future of every kingdom hangs in the balance. New York Times-bestselling author Mary E. Pearson's combination of intrigue, suspense, romance, and action makes this a riveting YA page-turner for teens.

Customer Reviews
Not the fantasy series I thought but thoroughly enjoyed nonetheless
Epic story. Not the fantasy books I thought they would be but I enjoyed the awesome story telling and the way the author painted pictures with her words. I really fell in love with the good guys and really hated the bad guys! What a great talent!
Didn't finish
This trilogy tells a wonderful story, however I am not pleased that Kaden and Pauline end up getting together rather than Kaden and Lia. I was team Kaden from the get go, and Kaden seemed to understand Lia far better than Rafe ever could, and they had a specific connection and understanding that i didn't really see with Rafe. There was almost no build up to their relationship like there was with her and Kaden just for it to be torn down. I'm disappointed and a bit angry, but overall the writing is fantastic.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4
I’m really gone miss this series and the characters. Am i gonna reread Dance of Thieves? Yes. Although i found the second book better than this one i still enjoyed it. I don’t really like Kaden and Pauline bc they felt rushed but I like how Rafe and Lia had their happy ending. I also wish to know more behind the italic passages like the song of venda (jezelia?),testaments of gaudrel and morrighan, etc cus i was so confused and they really intrigued me. Lia has become so much stronger and i’m so glad for her and the ending with her and rafe was so good bruh like the melons😭. the komizars death wasn’t as satisfying as it would’ve been but he got what he deserved. Unlike the 2nd book, this book was kinda slow at some points but i still enjoyed it nonetheless. again, i’m gonna miss this series and it will always hold a place in my heart. Overall i rate this trilogy a 4 star. the writing was beautiful as always. mary e pearson is the best💕💕
