The Bee Telephone

Imagine picking up a phone and hearing an alien voice. Or pressing our noses against glass to watch aliens work on the other side.

When Jane Wiseman's children were young, they loved to listen to the bees through arboretum phone--other-worldly communications--as they watched the bees work behind glass.

Poetry give us the hotline into unfathomable twists and turns of our universe, including those in our own minds. Language becomes the pane of glass through which we reach, trying to comprehend these great mysteries.
