The Beggars Son

The story is set in Dharavi, the largest ‘slum’ in ‘the world. This area has inspired some films, this book and has now found its way into the tourist map. It features a rapist marrying his victim and a son, born out of this unfortunate ‘union’. The son grows in the slums with a set of parents from dubious lineage, hate, disharmony, lack of pride and unity.  What brings the family together despite these adversities?
