Are you stuck under the weight of endless demands and responsibilities? The good news is: it doesn't have to be this way.
In The Best Yes, New York Times bestselling author Lysa TerKeurst guides you through the insightful lessons she's learned about what it means to live out the purpose that God has in store for you. Lysa demonstrates the incredible power of two words--yes and no--and the way that these simple, daily decisions can shape the story of our lives.
Lysa has learned firsthand that there's a big difference between saying yes to everyone and saying yes to God. Drawing from applicable scriptures and her own personal experiences, Lysa teaches us that if we know and believe that God has a plan for each of us, we'll live it out--serving as living proof of His never-ending grace and kindness.
Throughout The Best Yes, Lysa will give you the practical tools you need to:

No matter what season of life you find yourself in, you deserve the chance to make decisions that bring out the best you.
Bestselling author and popular blogger TerKeurst (Made to Crave) tackles a topic that's top of mind for practically every woman: making wise decisions. Regardless of whether a woman spends most of her day in a cubicle or a minivan or both, the list of people and projects vying for her time is endless. TerKeurst's gentle approach reads like a friend commiserating and counseling over latt s. She says that overwhelmed schedules lead to "underwhelmed souls," and then describes the path to developing the discernment to make good choices. She acknowledges that some things about learning to decide wisely are difficult, such as letting go of self-imposed obligations using what TerKeurst calls a "small no" to provide a "Best Yes" to opportunities that require attention and honor God. The only way to recognize those wise opportunities is to stay in "unbroken companionship" with God, the author says. TerKeurst's often self-deprecating humor and ability to be vulnerable, combined with insightful Bible references, make this a book women can relate to in a hundred little ways each day.
THIS BOOK IS YOUR BEST YES
I am so glad I listened to the wisdom of my friends who recommended this book to me. I love to consume books like this day in and day out. I've studied various books that talk about ministry, outreach, evangelism, and a wide variety of topics that I personally feel ignited about. However, I could not put this book down. This book is different. This speaks less to my calling and more to my soul. This was so encouraging to read and it deeply affected the way I look at my overwhelmed collegiate schedule. I highly recommend this book to all women, young, or mature. I also recommend this to several of my brothers in Christ who struggle with an overwhelmed lifestyle, and though they won't public ally admit it, they privately admit that it has encouraged them greatly. In college with a focus in a career of ministry, it's easy to jump from one youth meeting to a leadership retreat to an upper level class to a missions fundraiser, to Romania and back... It become so easily exciting and easily overwhelming. But there is so much grace in choosing our Best Yes! It transforms an overwhelming schedule into a redeemed lifestyle full of rest and growth. I am incredibly blessed by this book, and have already purchased it for three of my closest friends. Don't hesitate! Get it!
