Sir Edwin Arnold (10 Jue 1832 – 24 Mar 1904) was an English poet and journalist, who devoted a lot of his work to Asian culture, most know of which is The Light of Asia. He was one of the fouding fathers of the Mahabodhi Society of India. He saw the interpretation in English philosophy of the East as him primary task as a literator.
