The Bible Amendments

"The Bible Amendments" takes the Good Book to task on several levels. Christ's messages of peace, love, and understanding are contradicted by teachings found largely in the Old Testament. The God in the Old Testament endorses war, slavery, chauvinism, the second-class status of women, people of color, and the LGBTQ community. This is not the message Christ brought to the world. The God in the New Testament seems to be 180 degrees different than the one in the Old Testament. Equal rights for all of humanity have been left to the government, but even the most civilized countries have not reached true equality.
