The Big Blind
Nadia Wolf has a specific set of skills that leave her useless for most anything but playing poker. Of course, a couple of other players prove to be her foil. Especially a handsome one named Caleb. But he isn't her only suitor or her only problem. Somehow, she finds herself with a self-proclaimed manager, multiple men chasing her, and a mystery that she can't resist. But will she come through it unscathed or even alive?
The hysterical situations that Nadia finds herself in amuse me. However, I fear I may have gotten some sort of infection from the partner hopping that seemed to be the real focus of this book. I wish Nadia well, but I can't commit to the next book any more than most of the characters could commit to keeping their pants on.
The Big Blind
The poker story line is what first caught my attention as did the humor of the main characters. This was a comfortable read and it moved along nicely. The two possible love interests were totally opposites and it’s going to be interesting to see which one Nadia chooses.
