Manwhore. That's what the board of directors--and the tabloids--thinks of billionaire bachelor Reese Crane. Ordinarily he couldn't care less, but his playboy past is preventing the board from naming him CEO of Crane Hotels. Nothing--and no one--will keep him from his life's legacy. They want a settled man to lead the company? Then that's exactly what he'll give them.
Merina Van Heusen will do anything to get her parents' funky boutique hotel back--even marry cold-as-ice-but-sexy-as-hell Reese Crane. It's a simple business contract--six months of marriage, absolute secrecy, and the Van Heusen is all hers again. But when sparks fly between them, their passion quickly moves from the boardroom to the bedroom. And soon Merina is living her worst nightmare: falling in love with her husband.
Bestselling romance writer Lemmon (the Second Chance series) kicks off her Billionaire Bad Boys contemporary series with sexual sparks between wealthy rival hoteliers in a world of luxury. Merina Van Heusen is livid when she learns her parents have sold the Van Heusen Hotel, a Chicago institution, to the sleek, modern Crane Hotel chain to avoid bankruptcy. After giving her new boss, Reese Crane, a piece of her mind, the last thing she expects is a proposal. Reese, desperate to prove to Crane investors that he's more than the bed-hopping playboy featured in tabloids and blogs, thinks a stable marriage will show he's dependable. After six months, when he's won over the Crane Hotel board, he offers to divorce quietly and give Merina control of her beloved hotel. Merina agrees to the temporary marriage, but their mutual attraction grows, and they both must figure out how to overcome past hurts before they can trust themselves to love again. The Van Heusen Hotel's troubling money problems never do get addressed, but Lemmon hits the right emotional buttons with this lavish, indulgence-fueled romance.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review from Jessica Lemmon
This book kicks off a new series and boy it doesnt disappoint. It starts off as a marriage of convenience. Contract and all. Then the fun begins. I really loved the chemistry between these two. I devoured every single page. I didnt want it to end. I also really loved the supporting characters.
I loved it – more please!
The Billionaire Bachelor is a standalone book, the first in a new series called Billionaire Bad Boys. It’s exactly the kind of story that made me fall in love with Jessica Lemmon’s writing over two years ago. I wasn’t real crazy about all of her Lost Boys stories but this one has me completely back on board.
The story has a wonderful, strong heroine in Merina Van Heusen and Reese Crane is just enough of a jerk-bad boy that you can hate him a little until you really get to know more about him (he’s been betrayed by a lover) as the story develops.
Merina loves the Van Heusen boutique hotel that has been her family’s legacy. Unbeknownst to her it was sold and now she’s furious – at her parents for not telling her about their financial problems and at Crane Hotels for buying it and wanting to turn it into another non-descript, modern looking hotel.
Reese Crane needs to change his image if he’s to obtain his life’s goal of becoming CEO of Crane Hotels when his father retires. He comes up with the perfect plan – marry Merina. If she’ll stay married to him for 6 months he will sign the Van Heusen over to her free and clear.
This is an updated marriage of convenience type of story and I loved it! The first time Merina and Reese meet she’s soaking wet and demanding that he stop the updates he’s ordered for the Van Heusen. He’s intrigued by her and admires her feistiness (as well as how she looks in a wet, see-through blouse).
Jessica Lemmon’s writing couldn’t be better. I laughed and I cried and I wanted to beat Reese over the head more than once. Oh, did I mention how hot and steamy it gets between Marina and Reese – even after they both said there wouldn’t be any sex during their marriage? Wow, made my ereader nearly burn my fingers!
Reese has two brothers that I’m sure will get their own books and I can’t wait to read them.
