Makes You Anticipate the Next One
I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review. Jess and Derry's story is a satisfying addition to the series. At first glance, these two seem like polar opposites--the reserved virgin and the happy-go-lucky manwhore--but there is something definitely there. What they have to figure out is whether or not they are the One for each other, or just a scorchingly hot fling. It was delightful to read their story of discovery of not only themselves, but each other. It was also very enjoyable to learn more about this shifter world. I look forward to the next in the series.
The One
From beginning to end Jess had Derry’s heart. I’m so many ways I’m like Jessica but I haven’t found my one yet. For Derry to go though life feeling like he had to pretend to be a playboy to fit in because he didn’t want his own family to know he had talent was wrong, Great read.
Consenting adults
I was aggravated that everyone kept telling them not to date, esp the sister when she herself did the same thing and the mother and her advice was atrocious.
