Publisher Description
On June 13, 2002, Dr. Don Pickney received a very special visitation from the Lord Jesus. It happened at the very close of a service as he was wrapping up the teaching portion of his ministry for the evening.
Suddenly, he was in the spirit, caught up to a very familiar place in the heaven lies. He had experienced such visitations on several prior occasions over the past 40 years of ministry. This time, however, was quite different. The Lord Jesus personally introduced him to the Prodigal Son, as well as his Father and Elder Brother.
Get ready in this account of his vision for your own personal encounter with this all too familiar personality of the Bible.
You may think that you have read the account of the Prodigal Son, but be prepared for many surprises, all supported by the scriptural account.
You will learn that this is the day of the "Blessing of the Prodigal Son!"

Not just some fairytale book for kids!
If you were to read any of the books by Dr. Pickney, it would be immediately clear that he is no charlatan. His books are laser-precise, scripturally-based and deriving from his personal journey throughout his life as a Christian and Pastor deeply devoted to knowing God in the persons of the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit.
This book is an account of a gift of God to Don for his devotion to the spreading of the Gospel. It is a private revelation that does not in any way contradict the scriptural account of The Prodigal Son. To the contrary, it reveals the deeper dynamics that had occurred among everyone within the scriptural account. It continues to reveal the heart and desire of God, not only for a family, but what he will do for each and anyone of his family members if they just turn to him.
Another great Christian book that if read consecutively or in conjunction with the other book offerings by Dr. Pickney will definitely give you greater insight, love and will to live your Christian life with joy and toward anticipation of The Day of Jehovah Tsaba (another book well worth reading).
The Blessing of the Prodigal Son
This is an encouraging, informative read. As I read and reread certain portions of this book I began to feel the love of the Father for His children in a way that I hadn't experienced before. I realize that it goes against our traditional paths of success when it explains that even those who have not sown will reap---revealing that even those who have failed will be lifted up into God's great abundance.
