출판사 설명
In his first-ever collaboration, New York Times bestselling author James Rollins combines his skill for cutting-edge science and historical mystery with award-winning novelist Rebecca Cantrell’s talent for haunting suspense and sensual atmosphere in a gothic tale about an ancient order and the hunt for a miraculous book known only as . . . The Blood Gospel
PUBLISHERS WEEKLY
This ponderous collaboration between Rollins (Bloodline) and Cantrell (A City of Broken Glass) opens with an arresting prologue set in first-century Israel. As the Jewish defenders of Masada prepare for their mass suicide, their leader, Eleazar, ritually sacrifices a young girl in a cave below the mountain fortress. Flash forward to the present, when a cataclysmic explosion destroys Masada, leaving as sole survivor a boy whose cancer was cured by the toxic smoke that emanated from below the mountain. At the request of the Israeli government, archeologist Erin Granger joins forces with Sgt. Jordan Stone, an American Army Ranger, to find out what caused the catastrophe. Add a peculiar Catholic priest and a lost gospel to the attractive male-female team and its quest for the truth, and you have yet another religious thriller with a gimmick that fails to match that of The Da Vinci Code.

TBG
James Rollins has yet to disappoint with any book I have read. TBG is a slightly different take on Mr Rollins style which is not surprising due to his co-author. I read this book in less than 24 hrs because I was unable to put it down. Can't wait for the next book in this series!
**After reading a previous ibook review I would like to remind everyone that James Rollins writes FICTION. He clearly states that & his books are marketed as such. I am a believer but was not offended by this work of fiction nor did I see any reason I should be offended. That is my personal opinion. I happen to be a fan of Mr Rollins fictional action / adventure / suspense books & hope that he writes many many more!
I love it!
I was so tired of Sigma Force that I stopped reading James Rollins for awhile. I really enjoyed this new book and can't wait to read Innicent Blood. Keep them coming!
Much too long and at times very confusing.
I did not like the length and the flow of the plot. At times, it was very confusing it was very confusing. I thought the book was entirely too long. Once I finished. I understood the premise better but I thought it was much too long and at times confusing. I would not recommend it.
