Thatcher gives Adrienne a crash course in the business...and they share an instant attraction. But there is a mystery about their situation: what is it about Fiona, the Blue Bistro's chef, that captures Thatcher's attention again and again? The Blue Bistro

I enjoyed it tremendously. When it was time to quit reading it to get ready to eat, do a few household chores I just wanted to read a few more pages. Can’t wait to start reading a next novel written by Elin Hilderbrand.

Great insights into restaurant business

Great characters and humorous stories from the Blue Bistro, a trendy restaurant on Nantucket Island. The main plot revolves around Adrienne, a nomadic 28 year old who lands a job unexpectedly as the assistant to Thatcher Smith, the Bistro’s charismatic owner. Suspense is created as Adrienne tries to figure out Thatcher’s enigmatic relationship to the restaurant’s brilliant chef, Fiona Kemp. Although I found parts of the book’s second half a little melodramatic, I really enjoyed the book overall!

Underwhelmed

Have loved all of Hilderbrands books I have read. Wasn’t a fan of this one. Thatchers character was so under developed.
