The Blue Mask

Literary Titan Gold Book Award Winner

Drugs, sex, and rock and roll.

For Alix Lane and Joel Stark, it was more than a slogan. It was a way of life.

After tragedy nearly destroys their hard-rock band, the Blue Mask rises from the ashes stronger than ever. By 1990, their music is climbing the charts, their concerts are selling out, and international fame is within reach.

But success comes at a cost.

As the shadow of the AIDS epidemic continues to loom over the music industry, old wounds resurface and new tragedies threaten everything they have built. Surrounded by fame, temptation, and heartbreak, Alix, Joel, and their closest friends discover that the greatest challenge is not making it to the top—it is surviving once they get there.

Set against the electrifying backdrop of the 1990s rock scene, The Blue Mask is a powerful story of friendship, loyalty, resilience, and the bonds that hold us together when life falls apart.

Perfect for readers who enjoy character-driven fiction, emotional journeys, and stories about music, ambition, love, loss, and redemption.
