The Book Shop of Forgotten Dreams
First time reading this author. A different kind of story and for the most part I enjoyed it. It’s about a shy book store owner who is doing her best to keep her falling down store open in a small town. A solution arrives when a friend talks her into taking in a popular actor who can’t stay out of trouble and his choice is jail or community service. He will be providing money for the store repairs while living in her second bedroom. They are complete opposites and he is very hateful and resentful, while she is very kind . In other words complete opposites with no understanding of each other. Very little language,and sex scenes don’t happen until most of the way through the book.
