Publisher Description
I ran into Derek while trying to escape the neighbor from hell.
Instantly, we hit it off. Since he’s only here for three months and the microbrewery leaves me little time for commitments, it’s the perfect setup for a fling.
He’s adventurous, challenges me, and he just gets me from the inside out.
With our expiration date quickly approaching, I’m left to wonder… Will my heart ever be the same without the boy upstairs?

A cute new take of the boy next door
A cute new take of the boy next door. It was a cute and easy read that left me smiling. Derek and Tessa definitely had good chemistry, I’m glad that they realized their feelings for each other in the end. I hope there will be more on them in future books. It’s fun to see that the characters intertwine between books, next to read about Derek’s siblings (Damien & Dani).
Emotional funny incredible
I love stories in which both main characters are strong. The emotional connection throughout the storyline is incredible. The humor within makes the story even better. There is some tear jerking moments but that is what makes this story believable. The sensual scenes make the book on fire.
Tess and Derek are two strong independent individuals that don’t believe in long term. See if or what can makes them change their minds.
Well written and highly recommended
This book is a must read!
I couldn’t get enough of Tessa and Derek! Such a page turner. What starts as I’m gonna grab some coffee, you wanna come, as they run into each other outside their place they are living-their neighbors are making quite a racket and they can’t sleep-to hanging out with each other quite often after that. Derek and Tessa definitely have chemistry from the start. It starts with a kiss while they are fishing one day. I kept wanting to scream at them because neither wanted a relationship to begin with. Derek is only in town for a few months. Tessa is just to busy with her brewery. How could you possibly be “just friends” in my opinion with the way they just got along so easily. It was amazing seeing what a hard worker Tessa was and seeing how I relate to her so much. Life is short, go for what you want. You’ll never know if someone is the one for you if you don’t just put yourself out there.
