The Bread Box

“Get off your duff and step4ward into a new exciting day! You might choke on a whole loaf of bread but Bishop has broken everyday living into ‘slices’ that are palatable and strengthening. Are you hungry to grow, to learn, and to renew? Bishop is positive and delightful and writes as she ‘walks’ in life. She can make you laugh at the end of a good day, reflect at the end of a bad day and charge you to look forward to the next day’s slice of life. Reach into the ‘Bread Box’ for encouragement and refreshment.”

“Having known Jane since her seminary days, I have seen her take many forward steps.  The most important example for me is when she searched and found an encore profession suited to her personality and she followed her heart. This book is part of that encore.”

Jeanine C. Bozeman

Senior Professor Social Work, NOBTS

“Jane has a way of taking what life dishes out and turning it into learning moments. This book isn’t just for women but as a woman I can’t tell you how valuable her illustrations on ‘white space’ have been to my life. Jane is a master chief of creating valuable life illustrations with each slice of life she serves. You won’t be able to read just one!”
