The Bread Line

This is a romance story book. A book which should be enjoyed byevery one who has had anything to do with the starting or the maintaining of a newspaper or a magazine, and which may be recommended very strongly to every one who has in mind the idea of starting a publication of any kind. It is the story of the attempt of four Bohemians, two writers and two artists, to establish a weekly paper, which in the book is known as The Whole Family. The four have knocked about a good deal in the literary life of New York, their daily work has brought them into contact with publishers and editors, and they have evolved a scheme for a weekly which they believe will result in popularity and financial success.
