HOT! Wow I couldn’t get enough of this book. Bella and Christian, a cabin in the woods, need I say more? I don’t want to give anymore details and ruin it, but this book needs to be in your library. I’m reading it for the second time now!
Bella and Christian
These Jordan brothers are not your typical Erin McCarthy heroes.......BUT they sure are fun! I have throughly enjoyed getting to know these two hot mess guys! The second book is wonderful! Bella is a high maintenance gal and Christian is a floater. BUT together they work! Read book one first and enjoy the ride!
The Judgement Zone
Bella is ALWAYS polite, prim, and proper...until she's not. While at her Bachelorette party, Bella has a little too much to drink and "steals" a drink while making harsh comments to the bartender-Christian. In effort to be "nice" to Bella, Christian offers her the drink on the house. While he believes her behavior to be that of a spoiled rich girl, he also thinks she's the most beautiful woman he's ever met. Too bad she's engaged or is she? After finding various "hidden" messages to women on her fiance's phone, Bella has to decide if she wants to be polite or be a run away bride.
Christian, never having the family unit he's always dreamed of, vows to never have kids until he makes a commitment. Having already messed up that plan, Christian vows to be the best dad he can with his focus solely on his son. Until he meets Bella. She's everything he's ever wanted, but can't have and thinks he doesn't deserve.
It's always easy to say what you'd do in certain situations, until you're actually in that exact situation. While I was cheering for Bella to believe she had value, I realize that's hard to do when you've been raised to be obedient and not question what you're told to do, even as an adult. It was awesome to see Bella's transformation. The overwhelming theme was "Don't judge a book by its cover". They both misjudged the other, but came to love who they were apart and together. I truly enjoyed this novel. I read a gifted copy and all opinions stated are my own.
