Disturbing and fun
I could not put this book down. I kept trying to stop myself from finishing it because I was so interested in the characters and their relationships. I wanted so badly to understand the directors of “the project.” I wanted to know what they were really trying to do. I still don’t understand exactly what they were after but it doesn’t matter. Because the story shows us the result of their actions and it doesn’t matter that it wasn’t what they intended. And I love Natalie. And I love Tim. And I love Hector. I wanted to get to know the other kids.
I have so many unanswered questions, but ultimately this book was so disturbing in its treatment of undocumented, immigrant children, and in the sci-fi craziness that literally spewed from Natalie’s mouth, I can’t recommend it enough.
Another classic
Peter is so consistent, it’s crazy. Broken Room is just another easy reading masterpiece, it’s immediately a book I will be reading over and over again for the rest of my life.
Glass Case of Emotions!!
My goodness, this book is crazy. From start to finish it grabs your attention and it does not let go. Compared to all of Peter Clines books, this one seems to stand out as the most “grab your face” and not letting you turn away. The relationship building, action, and the nail biting “ how on earth are they gonna get out of this situation” has you wanting more. Highly recommend this one. It’s like if Jason Bourne was in Stranger Things lol. I Loved it. You’ll love it. Buy it. Buy your friend and your grandmother a copy too.
