The Bull Riders Redemption
This was a page turner. I have never read a book by Barbara Dunlop that I didn’t enjoy.
This is book 2 in the multi-author American Bull Riders Tour series and it features Chase Garrett and Madeline Barrett. I love reading about Cowboys and the women they can't get enough of. This story was that and so much more. Add a child to the mix and emotions get stronger. This was an extremely emotional romance that was full of betrayal, dealing with death, learning to live again, family and most important is love.
I would have loved an epilogue but sadly there wasn't one. Also, I had a small issue with there not being any mention of the use of protection during sex. I understand it is assumed they did but it just doesn't feel right not openly acknowledging it.
All in all this was a fabulous read and I can't wait to see what happens with the Merrick brothers.
This was a very emotional story.
Riley is three years old, and mistakes Chase for his father. Maddy tries to straighten things out, but they struggle with the truth in an effort to not further hurt Riley.
I loved all of the characters. Chase is such a sweetheart, Maddy is a wonderful mother, Riley is adorable, and Maddy's brothers certainly added some drama to the situation - being a bit overprotective of their sister.
The characters all seemed so real to me. I couldn't believe how fast I finished the story. I just couldn't stop reading.
