Up There With Getting Things Done
Ryder Carroll’s system takes a minute to grasp, but is simple in design. It’s a reliable framework to keep what matters within your awareness. Take a few months and give it a go. Eventually, you’ll feel some sense of relief as you can immediately flip to what matters and not try to remember what app or digital product where you saved that tidbit. It’s a great kit and easy to bash into your specific needs. For example, my “stack” includes a weekly log and a dedicated index for work projects. This process evolves through use and you’ll find your unique expression of the Bulet Journal method.
I am on my 4th journal and 4th year of journaling and this whole book was an AHA moment. I was constantly going to Pinterest for “Bujo Inspiration” or spreads that might serve me only to be left wanting. My 3rd journal was starting to feel like another chore, but I love feeling pen to paper so I kept at it just to keep my hands busy. Refreshing myself with the true purpose (the why) of why I wanted to start a Bullet Journal in the first place was just what I needed and I feel so much better already. When in doubt strip it down, “less but better”. So glad I spent this money!
