Ivan and Frederick are two world-class chess masters who have competed publically many times, but this is their first time competing in private. This also is the first time in which the competition means a lot to be held at stake. It is also the first game that either champion has played using 32 people in replace of the usual plastic pieces.
If Ivan’s side of the board game loses, he will lose his entire kingdom to Fred. His pieces will become Frederick’s slaves. If Ivan wins, Frederick will give his daughter’s hand to Ivan in return that Ivan provides for them financially.
The other side of the board game has a similar setting with the exception that its pieces are all predominantly of African origin. Fredrick is an African king in need of money to buy armories so that he can help his territory defend itself from neighboring regions. If Fred wins, Ivan will provide him with millions of dollars’ worth of diamonds. Yet if Fred loses, he will have to give up his kingdom and see his players turn into slaves.
The rules of the game are such: Either King can do whatever they desire with the other players losing pieces. With so much on the line, they might as well immerse themselves with a little deviant pleasure.
