The Case for Real State Transparency

Tax dollars are our money. Even after they're collected by government, that money still belongs to us as citizens.  Every last penny of it.  In order to restore our government to it's intended role, citizens must have tools to hold government accountable for its performance... they must have tools that track every last penny, decision, justification, and action.

State governments must implement ‘Real Transparency’. Real Transparency enables people to understand how, where, and why money has been spent, and what value was received. Only listing the “costs” associated with programs and initiatives is insufficient. State leaders are obligated to demonstrate the results of these expenditures. This is the core of true, real transparency.
