DELIGHTFUL Read
The Case of Jennie Brice
This suspenseful book, with its twists and turns, is a murder mystery - or is it? Is the young lady really dead, or has she voluntarily disappeared? I found it challenging to put this book down. Rinehart was a witty and intelligent writer, at a time when there were not many successful female novelists. I will not give away spoilers, but suffice it to say that this novel can hold its own against today’s mysteries, and is refreshingly free of politics-something from which we could all benefit at this time!
The Case of Jennie Brice ... Good Cozy to Read
I enjoyed reading this so much, I turned back to the beginning and read it again.
