The idea behind the VERSE IT:ALL™ Bible began over coffee following a missed trip to church. We were new in town and visiting different churches looking for our niche. Traveling from church to church, Sunday after Sunday, we noticed something interesting. Many parishioners followed along with the sermon, not from the hardcover Bible in the pews, but rather on their phones or tablets. One Sunday, we decided to download a free Bible for our eReader. We were running late and did not review the Bible before leaving for church. Upon arrival, we discovered the service was moved up an hour. So instead, we decided to grab some coffee and read a verse or two on our own. We took our seats at a local coffee house, turned on our eReader, and were immediately surprised at how hard it was to find anything. The free download was hard to navigate, hard to search, just plain hard to use. If we had tried to use it during a service we would still be searching long after coffee and donuts concluded. As eBook designers, we decided to build a better product for ourselves and others.

I downloaded the sample copy and found it too indeed be very easy to navigate. I was actually getting ready to hit the purchase button when I noticed on page two that it said this was the King James Version and not the DR version. A quick double check confirmed that the cover said it was the DR version and it seems to have all the correct books in the table of contents for the Catholic version. It would seem that the KJV version of this product was published first and that no one bothered to change page two to read Douay-Rheims from King James when they created the new version. It seems to be just a simple case of poor proof-reading and attention to detail by the publisher, but seriously? Why do I want to buy a product with such an obvious error right at the beginning? What else did they get wrong? Yea, I know it is only three dollars but that simple error is annoying and will bug me every time I see it.
Regarding the comment about KJ VERSION
They have corrected the error it was mentioned in the first comment. This is not the King James version but the DJ version.
So far I love everything about this Bible!
