The Catholic Bible
This has been a wonderful way for me to read scripture on a daily basis. My only complaint is the book of Psalms seems to be shortened for some reason in many chapters or just never downloaded properly.
Terrible navigation!
I have two major problems with the navigation in this bible.
1. This Bible is unusable with a Table of Contents that has every chapter of every book as a line item in the Table of Contents! Who ever heard of having to swipe literally Fifty times just to try to get to the New Testament!?! Maybe if I scroll down twenty times I'll be all the way to Leviticus Chapter 16!!!!
2. The bible itself takes about FIVE MINUTES to load on an iPad2. That means I can't even use the scroll bar at the bottom of the page to quickly jump ahead to a book or chapter in the bible until five minutes after I've opened the book! That is completely frustrating and unless they fix this, makes this bible impractical for daily use.
Not a real catholic bible.
This is not the same bible the Catholic Church uses. Wording has been altered to make Jesus sound like he spoke against homosexuals. While I am not certain what Jesus thought about them, I know he didn't specify, which this bible presents.
