What a Christmas…
This novel starts out with hope, not just of Sasha, but even from Nic. Of course, the parental visit’s demise is a rocky mess… but it portends of the finale. Sasha is a dream teacher and manny, but Nic is a driven mess. Sasha dials back, but soon begins to show Nic what he’s missing with his kids. I’m not usually a fan of the rich character, but Sasha helps Nic come down to earth. The disaster at work translates into a disaster at home, even when Nic fixes the problems at work, the monster parents undermine and attempt to destroy Nic. This Christmas story would seem beyond the pale if it weren’t for Nic’s money and his love of Sasha. Christmas wins out… but you expect that. It’s soooo good, it will warm your heart. Expect a tear of two… Great Christmas yarn…
