The Channel

If life is just a game, then Adam Fischer has become a mere spectator. Emotionally comatose since the death of his wife, the veteran record producer finds solace only when cosseted behind the soundproof glass of a darkened studio control room. After an earthquake and tsunami devastate New York City, Adam is propelled back into his life, a life where Woodstock, a beautiful clairvoyant named Lucia, the Battle of Gettysburg, the town of Sedona, the USS Intrepid and an enigmatic Hopi elder become improbably linked together. The Channel explores a future where cataclysmic earth changes have left survivors facing an uncertain destiny within a foreign mindscape.
