Welcome to Superiore Bay, Maine, your little slice of heaven on the coast. Come visit us for the best small-town gossip, all the wine you can drink, and wild horses. Once you're here, you'll never want to leave.
He's her boss… …nothing more.
Jorgina Ashford was once the princess of Superiore Bay. As the daughter of the man who controlled, well, everything—including her—she had an image to uphold, one that threatened to choke the life out of her.
So, she left.
Four years later and she's back. A beloved daughter returned with a secret that'll turn her from prodigal to fallen princess.
As the son of famed celebrity chefs, Hudson Silverman was the toast of New York City. Everyone dreamed of dining at his Michelin starred restaurants. Restaurants he didn't own. Businesses that could fire him at will. And they did.
A scandal sends him in search of a job. Any job as long as it's out of town. A terror in the kitchen, Hudson is desperate for employees at the new restaurant he's been hired to open. No one wants to work for him until he hires the one girl who can open all the doors barred to him in this strange small town.
A girl he can't seem to intimidate.
Jorgina and Hudson are opposites who shouldn't work. Not in their partnership or their budding frenemy relationship.
When Jorgina's secret comes to light, she might just learn the toughest door to open is the one to Hudson's heart.
Come to Superiore Bay for an escape into this heartwarming and sweet, small town romance with beautiful sunrises, protective brothers, lovable town-gossips, a complicated enemies to lovers relationship, and a family that will steal your heart.
The Chef's Kiss is the fourth book in the Maine Mornings series. It's a standalone novel with a guaranteed HEA.

Ashford princess returns
The Chefs Kiss is the fourth book in the Ashford/Maine Mornings series. I could not put this book down. Stayed up way too late/early in the morning to finish this!
Jorgina or the Ashford Princess has returned to Superiore Bay. She sneaks onto Conrad’s island though because she doesn’t want to see her father yet. Unfortunately she is hiding a pretty big secret and she doesn’t know how he will react or how any of the male figures in her life will react.
Hudson is the new chef in town. He needed to get out of New York and away from his parents and Jordan. His new job is at the Orchard Hill restaurant. He is definitely an outsider though and struggling to make connections with the locals. It was great to see Hudson be protective of Jorgina and make sure she was fed and taken care of on top of dealing with the restaurant.
I felt that this could be considered a fast pace romance since they didn’t really discuss anything until he decided to just kiss her. I did enjoy the story though and the characters. I also loved how the author handled Jorginas news and I was able to easily read this story. Definitely enjoyed the small town but rivalry aspect in this story as well. I really want to visit Maine after reading this series!.

Wonderful story!
Wonderful story! One of my favorites of the series so far. The author puts together two hurt people and builds an interesting and heartwarming story of how they come together. I absolutely love falling in love with this small town and all the fun characters. I hope we will see another book in this series!

Sweet and Funny Enemies to Lovers Romance
Hudson was full of himself assuming he could walk into a small coastal town and turn a restaurant into something from NYC and convince all the distributors to do what he wanted. I wasn’t sure socialite Jorgina could do a good job managing the restaurant, helping Hudson see what would work best for the bay and convincing previously reluctant staff to join especially with his initial high temper chef reputation. They have some laugh out loud interactions where anyone else might have never hired her for ruining his expensive clothes or fired her for being so bold, but he needed her to make it a success. They both have horrible exs who keep trying to manipulate their lives. She worried about what her family would do when they realized how far she had fallen, but they surprised me too. I loved her friend Cara and I’m curious to see who she falls for.
