Customer Reviews
Will keep you guessing...
A fine whodunnit story. A good read for any fan of the Charlie Chan movies or anyone who enjoys pre-WW2 mysteries and thrillers. Keep in mind this was written in the 1920s. Some of the attitudes and Asian stereotypes of that era no longer exist today. Keep an open mind and don’t let some outdated language dissuade you from enjoying a good story. Charlie Chan is supposed to represent a great detective mind. This story is not making fun of Asians or intentionally belittling a race.
