The Choice

Private school student, Nick Flynn, grew up privileged as the son of a rock star but his childhood abuse trauma has left him deeply scarred and with anger issues. Only two people know the truth about what he endured but even they don't fully know the damage it has done to his mind.

Nick is forced to grow up quickly when he moves out at age 15 to escape his abuse cycle. He gets hooked on prescription oxycontin after an injury and his substance use quickly escalates into a heroin addiction as he continuously uses drugs to deal with his inner pain, anger, and any difficult situations that may and do arise in his life.

His soulmate, Charlotte, continuously stands by him but can only handle so much before she gives him an ultimatum. Nick must end up making a choice between the two loves of his life. Will he quit heroin and choose happiness with Charlotte and his family or will he choose heroin and lose everything?
