The Christian Atheist

Atheist. A compound word made up of the prefix a, meaning “not” or “without”, and the word theist, which comes from the Greek word theos, meaning “God.” Is it possible that many registered Christians who claim to believe there is a God are really practicing atheists, living their lives very largely without God?
