Delightful!
Rinehart had a gift for writing clever and humorous mysteries. In The Circular Staircase, a mdidle-aged amateur sleuth helps real detectives solve a murder whose story has many twist and turns, and includes mistaken identity, a bank failure and a literal train wreck. The characters are so well-developed that I felt like I really knew them. I can't wait to read another book by Rinehart!

I thoroughly enjoyed reading "The Circular Staircase". Filled up empty spaces in my day for 3 days and did not expect the ending.
