The Circus Boy

The Cien Fuegos Circus, a most famous entertaining company, has brought their elephants, tigers, lions, horses, clowns, dancers and a whole lot of other fun and curious things for a 3-week performance, however fun was not the only thing the circus was bringing to La Esperanza. Along with the circus comes a 17-year old run-away boy who found himself caught in the middle of a family power struggle and wanted no part of it.

Some say Marcello Mirabella, aka, Victorio Maravilla, soon to be El Magnificent was a troubled kid, a spoiled brat that did not recognize authority at home or at school. Others said he was a thief and a liar and also had a bad temper. In joining the circus things went from bad to worse - much worse. This is his story.
