Harmony seems to be full of people yearning for connection. Like funeral director Tyler Wright, who longs to take his relationship with his friend Kate to the next level, but doesn’t know how. And Ronelle Logan, a woman frightened of everyday human interaction, until she meets an angry, lonely man—someone just like her.
When a terrible storm threatens the town, the residents of Harmony are forced to think about what they really want. Because making the connections they so desperately desire means putting their hearts at risk...
PUBLISHERS WEEKLY
In her third Harmony novel, Thomas (Welcome to Harmony) takes readers back to that Texas town where a number of romances come to a head after a tornado strikes. Funeral director Tyler Wright struggles to profess his love to Maj. Kate Cummings. Aspiring rodeo star Noah MacAllen keeps returning to Harmony and his best friend (and beloved) Reagan Truman. Reagan, whose "uncle" Jeremiah (he's her foster father) is dying, wrestles with her feelings for Noah and local firefighter Brandon Biggs. Meanwhile, shy Ronelle Logan meets angry, lonely Martin Winslow, who helps her emerge from her shell. Despite their passion, Claire Matheson has trouble committing to Denver Sims. The tornado leaves each character wondering if loved ones have survived, and this uncertainty forces them to action. Even for readers new to the series, the intricate relationships between these affable men and eccentric women are easy to follow and even easier to love. Thomas skillfully juggles the many subplots, and the relationship between Ronelle and Marty, which inspires both to trust again, is especially touching.
Customer Reviews
Loved it!
Great story, I hope the characters continued in the next one!
Great book
Loved this book and the characters. I could not stop reading it. I love all of her books.
Good book
I enjoyed this book. There were even a few surprises along the way. It took me a while to keep the characters straight because it changed characters with each new chapter. It was definitely not a fast paced book, but eventually I did get “invested” with them. And, I like the fact that there weren’t pages & pages to skip over because of explicit sex. I’ll look for more by this author.
