Good book.
Very opinionated and not much facts
This book is very personally opinionated. Some of the facts in the book are true while many are still very based on the area you live in.
Not Comprehensive
The title and description of this book do not fully align with the content. I wanted to know about how to properly size an HVAC system through careful consideration of building and climate factors, installation from start to finish with an example system, do’s and dont’s of ductwork, and so on. While some of these topics are briefly covered, I would not say it meets the expectation of being “The Complete HVAC Bible For Beginners”. This book also seems to prefer more moderate climate zones and does not cover how things change when you get to climate extremes. There are sections of the book where grammar is incorrect or a word seems to be missing. This book is helpful for learning the different types of HVAC systems, components and tools. The troubleshooting tips are also helpful.
