Complete waste of money.
It's a glossary of terms. Please don't confuse this with The Complete Idiot's Guide to Music Theory which is 314 pages, includes an audio cd, and is well illustrated.
I have no doubt that Apple will have something amazing in iTunes U or iBook2 soon. At least I hope so.
The Idiot's Guides are VERY late to the party.

The sample is just 5 pages of legal statements. Hardly a "sample."
Disregard this book.
